On 23 June, Resident Doctors’ Day was celebrated across the country, and NZMII was proud to help support the celebrations. Funding was provided to hospitals nationwide, helping RMOs come together and take a moment to feel recognised for the vital role they play in our health system.
Thank you to everyone who helped bring the day together, and to our resident doctors, thank you for the work you do and the difference you make every day.
From coffee tabs and wheels of fortune with prizes, to morning tea spreads and even a new air fryer for the staff room, we hope this funding helped make the day feel a little more special, and helped resident doctors feel valued and appreciated.
